ISOTOP CORPORATION SDN BHD (formerly Muar Hardboards Sdn Bhd) is a wholly Malaysian owned company incorporated in Malaysia in 1979 with a paid-up capital of RM6 million. The factory cum showroom is located on a 3.5 hectares piece of land in the Tanjung Agas Industrial Estate in Muar, Johor. It has over 20,000 square meters of production floor space and has in its employ 100 employees.

In 1981, the company pioneered the manufacturing of moulded tabletops and chairseats with imported German technology. The company produces over 500,000 pieces each of tabletops and chair seats per year.

In 1991, ISOTOP CORPORATION SDN BHD was awarded the “Product Excellence Award” by the Ministry of International Trade(MITI) and Industry for converting local raw material into high value added products. In 1996, we upgraded our production facilities to produce a ‘world class’ tabletops meeting the challenges of ‘high quality and competitive price’ . In 1997, we become the first Malaysia company to be awarded the ISO 9002 for the manufacturer of melamine laminated tabletops and chairseats.

This prestigious certification is recognition of our high quality standard, in our journey to be a world class tabletop manufacturer. This certification was later upgraded to ISO 9001. On the 5 February 2001, ISOTOP CORPORATION SDN BHD was awarded the prestigious industry award from MITT – Industry Excellence Award 2000.

ISOTOP CORPORATION SDN BHD is also participates in several international furniture shows overeas annually to promote its products. Over 70 % of the company ‘s products are exported to 3 D countries like Europe, Middle East, Oceania, Central & West America, ASEAN ,North Asia, North America ,Africa and South Asia.

ISOTOP CORPORATION SDN BHD is currently in pursuing a greater commitment in environment preservation that aims to achieve the certification of ISO 14001, we believe our effort will help to keep the world a green place. The management of ISOTOP Corporation Sdn Bhd is proud to be the first furniture company in Malaysia with ISO 14001 certification from SIRIM QAS. This achievement, served as a new benchmark for the Malaysian Furniture Industry.
